软权力争议问题分析

An Analysis of the Controversial Issue of Soft Power

美国哈佛大学教授约瑟夫.奈自1990年提出软权力理论后的20年间,该理论所引发的学术争论一直在持续。本文针对该理论所引发的学术争议问题展开讨论,并主要根据约瑟夫.奈教授的英文原作,对争议中所涉及的软权力概念的翻译问题和软权力资源与手段的划界问题,分别提出了自己的看法,期待本文的分析可以为提高软权力理论建构的科学性起到抛砖引玉的作用。

It has been twenty years since Professor Joseph S.Nye,Jr.,first published his theory on soft power in 1990,while an academic debate on this theory is lasting until today.Primarily based on the works by Joseph S.Nye,this paper discusses the academic disputes around the theory on soft power and puts forward the author’s own viewpoints involving the English-Chinese translation of the concept and the theoretical standpoints on the resources and means of soft power.The ultimate purpose of this paper is to start further discussions on the theory of soft power.
