地域变体视野下的英汉口译听辨障碍及对策分析

Analysis on Barriers of Listening for Interpreting from English to Chinese and the Countermeasures from the Perspective of Regional Varieties of English

以英语地域变体理论为依托,通过分析英语地域变体现象及特点,探讨以口音和方言为最终结合体的地域变体对英汉口译听辨理解过程所产生的影响,并提出口音听辨适应性强化训练、非语言信息的掌握和译前准备对于提高英汉口译听辨能力和理解水平具有重要作用。

Based on a review of theories of regional varieties of English,this paper attempts to analyze the unique features of regional varieties of English with respect to their impact on listening comprehension during interpreting from English into Chinese.It is believed that training interpreters＇ ability to cope with thick accent,observe speakers＇ non-verbal information and have a good preparation before interpreting will certainly bear fruit.
