Luxun′s Space-time Notion and his Novels

小说既是一种时间艺术,也是一种空间艺术,但我们往往在注意到这一方面时相对忽略了另一方面。鲁迅是一个空间主义者,他不太注重时间、变化,他关注的是指向"现在"的空间,这就是鲁迅的时空观。在这种时空观的指引下,以展现我们人类身上某些固有的或相对稳定的精神现象为旨归的鲁迅小说重视的是对空间的选择和运用,时间则被相对忽略。因此,在鲁迅小说中,空间具有远较时间重要得多的作用。

Novel is an art of time,and also of spatial.But we often notice one side and ignore the other.Luxun is a spatialist.He doesn′t focus on the time or change.On the contrary,he focuses on the space which means ＂now＂.This is Luxun′s space-time notion.Under the guidance of the notion,Luxun pays more attention to the space than time in his novels,such as how to select or use a space.So,time is relatively neglected in Luxun′s novels.To show some mental phenomena,which are inherent or relatively stable in human＇s soul,is an important reason for this.Therefore,space is more important than time in Luxun′s novels.
