试析《政府工作报告》中词汇的翻译——以“加强”的英译为例

An analysis of lexical translation in reports on the work of the government——Take the translation of "加强" as an example

中国《政府工作报告》属于一种特殊的政论文体,其翻译有着举足轻重的作用。文章以韦努蒂的归化和异化翻译理论为指导,基于2004年至2010年政府工作报告双语平行语料库,对《政府工作报告》中出现的高频词汇"加强"一词的英译进行统计研究,探讨其在翻译"加强"一词时所使用的翻译策略。

Report on the work of the Government（RWG） belongs to a kind of political comment style,and the translation of RWG is quite important.From the perspective of Venuti＇s domestication and foreignization translation theories and based on RWG bilingual parallel corpus,this paper studies the translation of one of the high frequency words ＂加强＂ in original RWG,aiming to explore the translation strategies and methods used in translation of ＂加强＂.
