The Analysis of Mistakes in English Writing and Writing Strategies for Non-English Majors

近年来,大学生的英语水平有了很大提高,同学们在听、说、读、写、译方面进步明显。但相比较而言,英语写作还是比较薄弱的环节,尤其是普通大学非英语专业的学生。因此,提高非英语专业学生的英语写作能力,尤为重要。

In recent years,English teaching and study have been attached to great importance and vavious modernized teaching means have been adopted in English teaching.As a result,students＇ English has been greatly improved.We＇re happy to find that students are getting higher scores in CET Band 4,and they have made remarkable progress in listening,speaking,reading and writing.However,statistics show that non-English majors still have problems in writing,especially those in average colleges.This paper attempts to analyze the mistakes students made in their writing and aims to sound a warning note for all our students to pay more attention to improve their English writing.
