外语教学的目的在于提高学习者运用目的语进行交际的能力,这一观点普遍地为语言学家们所认可。尽管师专英语专业学生有种种具体特点,与其他普通高校英语专业的学生的确不尽相同,但在专业的培养目的来说,仍应始终不渝地把培养运用英语进行交际的能力放在首位。

The purpose of foreign language teaching is to improve learners＇ ability to use the target language.This view is generally accepted by linguists.Although the students of English majors have various specific characteristics,however,for the purpose of professional training,teachers should always put the cultivating the ability of English application in the first place.
