This paper introduces the alarm clock and week calendar designed using microcontroller ATMEGA48 and numeric LED.This device can display time and alarm at the preset time.It can also display the day of week.this device uses AC power instead of battery,this product is propitious for environment protecting.Because the numeric LED radiates initiatively,the device can be used at night in the case of no light.The device enters sleep mode automatically at power cut,the time continues running in sleep mode for quite a few hours,it＇s not necessary to calibrate after power is on.
