摘要
在经济全球化的语境下,我国政治、经济、科学和文化等各个领域的对外交流越来越频繁,对翻译人才的培养提出了新的要求,因此有必要进一步厘清翻译本科专业与翻译硕士专业学位教育的定位及关系和翻译专业人才的翻译技能训练与理论素养培育的关系这两大问题。本文从翻译人才培养的目标定位入手,就翻译人才培养过程中理论素养的培育提出了明确的要求,并结合理论素养的培育就翻译理论类教材的编写进行探讨,并提出了编写翻译理论类教材应该要有助于翻译人才翻译观的建立、有助于翻译人才翻译史观的建立、有助于翻译人才了解翻译科学、掌握翻译技术等有关原则。
Due to economic globalization,China's exchange with foreign countries in various fields,such as politics,economics,science and cultures,becoming more and more frequent,producing new requirements for the cultivation of qualified translators and interpreters.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify two basic problems in translators and interpreters' education:(1)the respective status of and relationship between Undergraduate Translation Major(UTM)and Master of Translation and Interpreting(MTI);(2)the relationship between the training of translation skills and the cultivation of theoretical attainment in these programs.The paper starts by fixing the objective of cultivating qualified translators and interpreters,and proposes the specific requirements for the buildup of theoretical attainment in their training programs.Then after discussing the compilation of theoretical textbooks in Translation Studies with a view to nurturing theoretical attainment in qualified translators and interpreters,it sets forth relevant principles for compiling such textbooks;that is,they should be conducive to the establishment of appropriate views on translation and its history characterized by qualified translators and interpreters,and be conducive to their understanding of the science of translation and their mastery of translation skills.
