Vehicular radar made strict demands on its transmitter＇s volume,weight and environmental worthiness.A high power broadband klystron vehicular radar transmitter with strong environmental worthiness is presented.The main key performance indicators and the system constitution are presented.The emphasis is put on the high voltage power supply,solid state modulator,the structural composition,cooling system and the stability of output power over wide temperature.At last,the potential application of Multi-Beam klystron in the field of high power transmitter is discussed.
