Objective To investigate the relationship between changes of 5-HT in secondary spinal cord injury of rats. Methods The alteration of 5-HT and ultrastructure of anterior horn neurous were studied by means of histochemistry and quantitative method of micro-image analysis system were observed morphine dependence rats. Results The average grey value of 5-HT positive reactive product in experimental group was lower than that in control group(ph0.01).Conclusion The alteration of 5-HT is concerned with secondary spinal cord injury.
