摘要 [目的]探索蟒蛇性别鉴定方法,为生产实践和蟒蛇研究提供理论基础。[方法]采用形态学观察和性别鉴定针法对111条不同年龄(1岁、2岁和3岁龄以上)缅甸蟒进行鉴定,记录其形态特征和性别鉴定针插入生殖腔部分所占的鳞片数,然后解剖查看其生殖器官验证其性别,统计雌雄蟒蛇的性别规律。[结果]雄性蟒蛇,进入生殖孔的鉴定针长度大部分占10~17片尾部鳞片,个别的占8、9和19片;而雌性蟒蛇,进入生殖孔的鉴定针的长度占到尾部鳞片的4~5片,相对比较集中。[结论]形态学观察和性别鉴定针鉴定法相结合可以方便、高效地判定出蟒蛇的性别。 [Objective]To investigate gender identification method and provide theory basis for python production practice and research.[Method]A total of 111 Python molurus at ages of 1,2,and 3 years old were selected.Through the morphological observation and the method of gender identification needle,we recorded the morphological characteristics and depth of gender identification needle which part has inserted the genital atrium.[Result] Most of needle length of male pythons into the gonopore accounted for 10-17 tail scales,individually accounted for 8,9 and 19 tail scales;Most of needle length of female pythons into the gonopore accounted for 4-5 tail scales.[Conclusion] The gender of Python molurus can be easily identified by morphological observation and the method of gender identification needle.
