This is a systematic review on health cigarette filter .The application of Chinese Herbal Medicine in the cigarette filter can be regarded as a characteristic of ＂Chinese Type Cigarette＂,which play an important role on improving cigarette level and ＂reducing tar and eliminating impurity ＂. The paper also gives a detailed introduction about effect and action mechanism, machining process, development and prospect of Chinese Herbal Medicine in cigarette.
