摘要 The catalytic activity of cuprous chloride with promotor H for synthesis of methanol and methyl formate(MF) at low temperature in a batched slurry reactor have been investigated by examining the effects of pressure, temperature and catalyst concentration as well as promotor concentration. The results indicate that the catalytic activity increases as the reaction pressure is raised and decreases with the increase of the reaction temperature. Both the catalytic activity and methanol selectivity increase, but MF selectivity decreases with the increases of the catalyst concentration. Addition of the promoter increases the activity of the catalyst with considerable decrease of the MF selectivity.
