为厘清秦俑坑的属性和作用,通过文献考证和实地考察后认为,目前学界在秦俑作用方面盛行的6种方法皆不可取,秦俑坑应是最具代表性的秦军事生活的缩影:其中1号坑不是"圆"也不是"疏",而是矩阵;2号坑不是"前角后犄的曲形阵",而是兵营的暂驻形式;4号坑并非后勤部队的"左追蓐",而表现的是列队接战的一瞬间。

In order to make clear the function and attributes of Qin terro-cotta warriors,the author,after the literature study and the on-the-spot survey,finds that the present 6 sayings of the functions of Qin terro-cotta warriors are not correct.He believes that the pits for Qin terro-cotta warriors is the typical military microcosm in the Qin Dynasty.Among which,No.1 pit is not round and sparse,but matrix;No.2 pit is not indented arrangement,but the temporary station of the military forces;and No.4 pit is not the left-chase mattress of the rear service forces,but the instant of array troups.
