群众联防工作是以群众为主体,在当地政府及公安机关的指导下自发形成的联防组织。在当前的警务革命中,群众联防工作在基层社会治安维护上发挥着越来越重要的作用,成为了维护社会稳定工作的重要方面。文章通过对边防派出所群众联防工作的研究,系统地分析了当前边防派出所群众联防工作的特点、状况以及当前的组织模式,并对未来群众联防工作的建设和发展方向进行了探讨。

People joint defence work is a people＇s organization work that need the supervision of local government and police,its main purpose is giving assistance to police on maintaining the public order. In current policing reform,it is important for the people joint defence work to maintain the public order,it has become the main assistant power of the public order maintenance. Through the study oo joint work of border forces substation with the people,the thesis analyses the main characteristics,state and organization condition of it,and discusses the future development and the problem that will appear in the people joint defence work.
