The Influence of Adsorbents on Concentration of Volatile Organic Compounds in Water by Purge and Trap-Thermal Desorption-Gas Chromatography

摘要 利用自制的吹扫/捕集-热脱附装置,考察了7种单一吸附剂和4种混合吸附剂对水中痕量挥发性有机物的富集,结果证明,Tenax GC和活性炭组成的混合吸附剂使用范围广,回收率明显高于单一吸附剂,吸附剂借助N_2干吹可除去水蒸气.混合吸附剂可望在环境大气和汽提法分析水样中得到广泛的应用. As a promising sample preparation technique, purge and trap(P&T) followed by thermal desorption-gas chromatography(TD-GC) has been widely used in analytical chemistry in recent years. Inthis paper, a laboratory evaluation of adsorbents with a TD-GC was developed——several differentadsorbents or adsorbent combinations were evaluated for their ability to retain and to be thermally desorbed regard to volatile organic compounds. Hie amounts of analystes recovered from the adsorbents were quandtated using a CC equipped with a flame ionizadon detector. The results of these evaluadons indicate that multisorbents, such as Tenax GC: actived carbon = 2:1(V/V) , perform well for collecting a diverse range of volatile organic compounds (VOCS). Multi-adsorbents have potential widespread application in the environmental field for purge and trap and air sampling of trace VOCS.
