The Hebei Dialect of the Western Han Dynasty Reflected in Dialect

通过研究扬雄《方言》,探讨西汉时期河北的方言。从分区上看,可以分为五个区,齐、卫、赵、燕代和北燕。从词汇的特色来看,每个区的词汇各有特色,但从整体上,反应了西汉时期河北物产丰富,农业、畜牧、纺织等行业发达,当时人们重相貌、重信用。

By studying Yang Xiong＇ Dialect,we explore Hebei dialect of the Western Han Dynasty.From the district perspective,it can be divided into five areas： Qi,Wei,Zhao,Yan and Dai,Beiyan.Words have their own characteristics of each area,but it reflects that Hebei was rich in resources,agriculture,animal husbandry,textile and other industries during the Western Han Dynasty.People at that time valued looks and credits.
