An Analysis of Zhao State's Management in Dai Area during the Warring States Period

代地原本是代戎活动的区域,战国时期一直处于赵国的治下。赵国对代地先后采用了设立封君、设置郡县、归边将统领以及流亡后成立代王国等统治方式,各种统治方式下赵国都给予代地相当大的自主权。这种策略总体上是成功的,使得代地为赵国成为军事强国发挥了重要作用。

Dai area is originally Dai-Rong ethic group region.It had been under Zhao state＇s rule during the Warring States Period.In order to control the Dai area,Zhao successively used the following ways： conferring vassal;setting counties;belonging to the general rule;establishing Dai kingom after exiled.No matter under what kind of ruling modes,Zhao always gave Dai area high degree of autonomy.In general,this strategy is successful,which enabled Dai area played an important role for Zhao becoming a military power.
