The paper discusses the philosophical basis evolution of the methodology of economics based on the effects of such factors as ancient Greek philosophy, modern philosophy, philosophy of science and post-modern philosophy on the methodology of economics. In other words, it reveals the development of the methodology of economics from a new angle.
