基于《红楼梦》汉英语料的“心”的思维隐喻研究

A Contrastive Study of Heart as a Thinking Organ Bsded on A Dream of Red Mansion

以《红楼梦》原著及英文译著为语料,围绕"心"的思维隐喻及汉文化特质,进行了汉英语料的分析、对比和求证。结果表明,汉语中习惯将人脑思维的各种概念图式映射到"心"上;"心"的思维隐喻包括"心"为思官和"心"为知官;"心"的思维隐喻在英语译文中无一例使用对应词heart。因此可以得出结论:思维之"心"是汉文化的哲学体验和认知世界的方式,在英语文化里,"心"并非思官与知官。

Based on the Chinese and English corpus from the Chinese classic novel A Dream of Red Mansion,this paper analyzes how heart is viewed and understood metaphorically as brain or mind in Chinese language and culture,and how the metaphor is translated in English.Results demonstrate this metaphor is Chinese culture-specific.
