促进医学研究生专业英语教学改革的思考

Discussion on promoting professional English teaching reform in medical postgraduates

为了促进医学研究生专业英语教学的改革,根据医学研究生目前专业英语教学的现状,对医学研究生专业英语教学中的相关问题进行了探讨。目前教学中存在的主要问题是:(1)教学大纲与目前社会需求不相适应;(2)医学研究生专业英语优秀教材匮乏;(3)专业英语教学方法手段单一;(4)医学专业英语教学师资力量有待加强。针对上述情况,课题组认为:(1)明确医学研究生专业英语教学目标;(2)加强其专业英语教材建设;(3)改革教学方法,创新教学模式;(4)适应新形势,加强专业英语师资队伍建设是促进医学研究生专业英语教学改革的有效途径。

In order to promote professional English teaching reform in medical postgraduates,this paper discusses some related problems in current professional English teaching in medical postgraduates.The main problems in its teaching are the followings：（1） current curriculum can not meet the needs of society;（2） advanced medical English testbooks for postgraduates are in shortage in supply;（3） professional English teaching methods are outdated and simplistic;（4） teaching capability of medical English teachers needs to be strengthened.For the above,the authors suggest that：（1） be clear about the objectives of medical English teaching in postgraduates;（2） enhance the quality of their English teaching materials;（3） improve teaching methods and innovate its teaching models;（4） adapt to new situations and strenthen the professional development of medical English teachers,which are effective ways to promote professional English teaching in medical postgraduates.
