摘要
本文以系统功能语言学的评价理论为框架,分析英汉社论语篇中介入资源的分布特征,以及态度资源与介入资源的结合情况,讨论这些特征对语篇对话性和互文性建构的影响。研究发现,英语语篇中借言的比例大大高于汉语语篇,且态度资源与介入资源紧密结合。在不同的情景语境、文化语境和意识形态背景作用下,英语社论中评价意义的表达比汉语社论更隐蔽,对话性和互文性更明显。
This study attempts to apply the Appraisal Systems to investigating English/Chinese editorials in terms of the realization of Engagement semantics and its interaction with Attitude resources.It is evident from the analysis that heterogloss is more frequently adopted in English editorials with a vast proportion of attitudinal meaning incorporated into Engagement resources,and a higher level of dialogism and intertexuality is thus achieved.
