英语音段音位指发音特点,而超音段音位则指重音、节奏、语调等韵律特点.基于中国学生存在的语音语调方面的问题,从音段音位和超音段音位2个层面探讨了语音语调在大学英语教学中的重要作用,并提出了提高学生英语听说能力的措施.

English Segmentals refer English articulatory characteristics,while suprasegmentals its rhythmic characteristics sucs as stress,rhythm and intonation.In view of the existing difficulties in pronumciation and intonation of Chinese students,this paper discusses their important effects in college English teaching from the aspects of segmental and suprasegmental phonemes,and presents measures to improve students＇ English listening and speaking abilites.
