试论四川省当前玉米育种工作的几个问题

DISCUSSIONS ON SOME PROBLEMS IN THE CORN BREEDING AT PRESENT

本文借鉴“中单二号”玉米品种在我省推广应用的成功经验,对当前我省玉米育种工作提出三点意见;1.不能脱离生态分区育种来谈广谱适应性品种的选育问题。2.一个品种在生产上应用推广的成功需要借助于良种、良法、以及与之适宜的耕作制度的配套。3.育种工作者必须坚持与种子工作紧密的结合,育种工作者放松繁育环节是严重的失误。

1. It is of importance to breed corn hybrids according to ecological environment more than to breed a broad adapted. 2. The successful experience of spreading a variety to be applied in production should be depend on combining the elite cultivar with cultural technique and cropping system. 3. We must take notice of combining corn breeding with seed production. If not, we would accomplish nothing.
