当代中国社会基本道德准则的构建是当今时代给我们提出的现实课题与客观要求。对此,首先应明确构建当代中国社会基本道德准则的基本着眼点,其次要树立适应时代发展要求的先进的道德理念,如公平和正义、权利和个性、和谐和共生、科学和文明等。同时还要以这些核心理念为基本要求,在承续已有道德准则的优良传统和实践经验的基础上,大力拓展当代中国社会基本道德准则的视野及主要内容。

The building of the basic moral norms is the realistic subject and objective requirement that the times have put forward to us.In building it,we should make its basic point clear firstly.Next,we should set up advanced moral ideas that are adaptive to the development of the age.Meanwhile,we should look on these core ideas as the basic demands,and try to widen the Chinese socialism basic moral guidelines scope and contents on the basis of inheriting the good tradition and learning from practical experience of the existing moral guidelines.
