Reflections on School Characteristics of Changsha Normal College

高校要实现科学发展,在激烈的高等教育市场竞争中赢得主动,必须走特色化发展之路。高专学校的办学特色主要体现在服务面向上。因此,我校在发展中应立足服务面向,努力挖掘和凝炼办学特色,正确处理好三个关系——建设本体性专业与发展支撑性、拓展性专业的关系,培育办学特色与改善办学条件的关系,以及培育办学特色与提高教学质量的关系,切实提升办学实力,实现科学、快速发展。

Colleges and universities have to develop with characteristics to achieve scientific development and to gain the initiative in the fierce market competition in higher education. The school characteristics of colleges are service-oriented. Therefore,the development of Changsha Normal College should be service-oriented. And the school characteristics should be mined. At the same time,the following three relationships should be properly handled. One is the relationship between construction of ontological majors and development of supportive or expanded major. The other two are the relationship between nurturing school characteristics and improving school conditions and teaching quality. In doing so,we can effectively enhance the educational capabilities to achieve scientific and rapid development.
