摘要
承诺升级是指决策者面对前期投入的消极后果,仍然坚持向某一项目投入资源的现象。多重现象有多种理论解释,其影响因素包括决策者变量、投资变量和环境变量。为了避免管理者承诺升级使组织的资源遭受重大损失,可以采取管理措施来预防承诺升级的发生或者降低承诺水平。
Escalation of commitment(EOC) refers to a phenomenon in which decision-makers persist to invest resources to a failing action.Organizations often suffer losses from Managers'EOC.So de-escalation is important for managers and organization.Based on the review of EOC's implication,explanation theories,process models and influencing factors,some suggestions for managers' de-escalation in organizational management are provided.
