湖南大跃进运动经历了酝酿准备、组织发动、掀起高潮、继续跃进四个阶段。虽然,广大干部和群众在大跃进运动期间忘我劳动,艰苦创业,并取得了一定成果,但失远高于得,弊远大于利。搞社会主义经济建设必须一切从实际出发,量力而行,循序渐进,严格遵循客观规律办事,坚决克服以主观意志代替客观规律的错误做法,以避免类似大跃进运动的错误在历史上重演。
