Time Geography and Its Enlightenments to the Human-oriented Community Planning

以人为本的社区规划强调从社区尺度上加强对于居民的关注,将提高居民的生活质量作为最终目标。时间地理学分析居民活动的时空间特征及其制约因素,关注居民与空间的互动关系,对于推动人本导向的社区规划具有重要的促进作用。时间地理学关于社区层面的研究发现,社区是居民日常生活的基本空间单元,社区规划必须基于个体行为角度探究居民的社会需求,并从社区层面构建社会平等与空间公正。时间地理学为人本导向的社区规划提供了新的思路和方法。

The human-oriented community planning emphasizes that community planning should strengthen the concern for residents at the community level,and set improving the personal quality of life as its ultimate purpose.By analysing the spatialtemporal behavior pattern and the constraints on human activitiy participation,time geography focuses on the interaction between individual and space.It is very helpful to promote the humanoriented community planning.Time geography researches at the community level have three findings.First,community is the basic life-space unit of residents.Second,community planning should explore the social needs of residents based on individual behavior.Third,the analysis of time-geographic approaches can help to build social equity and spatial justice from the community level.Time geography will provide new ideas and methods to community planning.
