摘要 Carbon stripping foil with long lifetime is very important in the proton or heavy ion accelerators with high intensity beam. At CSRm ring in Lanzhou, thin carbon foil with 1μg/cm2 or even less is also possibly used as an internal target. The carbons foils were made by carbon arc-discharge vapor-deposition technique. The carbon is deposited onto a surface covered with a thin layer of release agent of betaine, and is subsequently floated off in distilled water and mounted by introducing the holder made of aluminum alloy under the floating foil, allowing them to come into contact and then gently removing them together from the water.
