The purpose is to investigate the effect of 60Co y-ray irradiation on human prostate carcinoma cell infected with AdCMV-p53 and possible molecular mechanism. Human prostate adenocarcinoma cell line (PC-3 cells with mutations of p53), and recombinant adenoviral vector containing a CMV promoter and carrying human wild-type p53 gene (Ad-CMV-p53) were used in this study. The cells were pre-irradiated with 60Coγ-ray (0,0. 5, 1. 0 or 2. 0 Gy) and then infected with 20, or 40 MOI (multiplicity of infection)
