Nowadays the technology of Case-based reasoning（CBR） is considered as a promising method in the artificial intelligence and expert system.In this paper the primary principle and work process were elaborated.The Application of CBR in crop insect pests forecasting were introduced,the development trend of CBR were also summarized.
