摘要
在世界高教史上,以牛津、剑桥、哈佛、耶鲁等为代表的西方名校在长达数百年的历史变迁中始终居于世界一流的位置,创造了“教育奇观”,其保持活力的众多经验值得探寻。其中,雄厚的人力资本、强势的特色品牌、有效的开放模式、综合的研究平台、早发的天然优势等显性动力为西方名校再次注入了勃勃生机;而崇尚真理的办学理念、勇于否定的批判精神、深厚自觉的责任意识等隐性价值支持以及不断调适的现代大学制度为西方名校提供了恒久动力。
Western leading universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and Yale, have been ranking among the world first - class universities during the historical transition of high education for hundreds of years. The spectacle they made has caused enormous curiosity in the world to explore their experiences of keeping vitality.
