我国是世界唯一定期举办全国性少数民族运动会的国家。在世界因种族人权问题纠纷不断的背景下,我国少数民族传统体育运动会举办具有重大的意义与作用。选取历届全国少数民族传统体育运动会为研究对象,探讨它在文化、政治、经济等方面的社会价值,为更好地发展少数民族运动会和进一步提升其社会价值提出建议。

China is the only regular nation to hold National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities regularly in the world.It＇s outstanding compared with the human rights and race conflicts around the world.The author researched each National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of the People＇s Republic of China and discussed their values for the culture,politics and economic and provided some suggestions for better development.
