摘要
在网络辅助多媒体课堂教学环境下,大学英语课堂教学时数与学生的四级通过率并非成正比;大学生的英语综合应用能力亟待提高;更新教学理念、提高教师素质,加强教学管理,促进大学英语教学模式和教师角色的转变,使大学英语教学不受时间、地点的限制,朝着个性化、自主化学习方向发展。
This paper,by making a detailed analysis of the National CET4 scores of two consecutive grades in a non-key institute of higher education,points out: 1) in-class teaching hours of College English teaching,assisted by web-based multimedia technology,are not proportionate to the pass rate of CET4;2) the comprehensive ability of non-English majors should be improved;3) it is critical to update College English language teachers' beliefs,to improve teachers' quality as well as to enhance teaching management and promote the transition of College English teaching mode and teachers' roles,orienting College English teaching toward individualized and autonomous learning.
