桂林确定为国家旅游综合改革试验区后,转变旅游经济的发展方式,已成为刻不容缓的当务之急。在桂林旅游业从传统向现代、生活向生产转型的过程中,大力发展旅游业服务外包是一个有利的契机和转折点。运用波特的竞争优势理论中四个基本要素和两个辅助要素分析得出桂林基本上已具备承接旅游服务外包的竞争优势。利用竞争优势建立适合桂林的旅游服务外包模式,将加快桂林旅游业的转型升级。
