The paper is a supplemental report of spike character in nanhuang-barley,The entire length and the awn length are longer than that of the primary breed,but the spike-stalk length is shorter.The grain number of a spike is smaller and a thousand grain weight is lighter than that of the contrast.The grain is not plump,therefore the yield is not high.the cause is that the abnormal construction of chloroplast leads to insufficiency of the photosynthesis product.
