Lao Position and Role in CAFTA Cooperation

本文立足于老挝在中国—东盟自由贸易区中的经济和社会现状,试析老挝在中国—东盟自由贸易区和经济全球化的大背景下,特别是老挝加入东盟自由贸易区《共同有效优惠关税协定》的情况下,老挝在中国—东盟自由贸易区合作中的地位与作用,以及应如何面对日益开放的经济环境所带来的机遇与挑战等方面的问题。

This paper,based on the current economic and social status of Lao PDR in China-ASEAN FTA,Seeks to analyze the status and functions of Lao PDR in the cooperation on China-ASEAN FTA and how to face the opportunities and challenges brought by the gradually opening up economic environment under the background of China-ASEAN FTA and economic globalization,in particular,after Lao PDR’s engagement of CEPT.
