Speculation of The Traditional Culture of Campus Buildings──Essay of The Design for The Buildings for Wuhan College Activities Center

文章通过对武汉大学教工活动中心的设计，认为对传统校园建筑文化的继承和发展不是简单的形式转换和符号延续，而应在理解历史和文化内涵的前提下创造性的发展，以适应特定环境及当今技术与社会和审美的需要。

This dissertation is arguing in accordance with the design for the building for Wuhan College Activities Center that the inherit and development of the traditional culture of campus buildings should no be simply transferred in forms or continued in building symbols, that should be creatively developed on the basis of understanding of building history and cultural intention, so that it will suit the needs of special environment, current techniques, publics and appreciation of the beautiful.
