In order to enhance the overall current effect in ideological and political work in the universities,this paper probes into two fields of music education： the edification of the spiritual world and its moral education function.It describes that music education can help implement the ideological and political work in universities.Meanwhile,it influences people with its emotional strength and molds them with its aesthetic power,which provides a wealth of material and forceful aid for ideological and political education.
