On Chinese Aestheticism in the 20th Century

20世纪中国文学审美主义思想是在西方审美主义思想影响下产生并发展起来的,其发展历程可以分为两个阶段,即第一个十年和第三个十年。第一个十年以王国维和鲁迅为代表,主要表现为对科学主义的质疑和反思;第三个十年以蔡元培、宗白华和朱光潜为代表,主要表现为以美育代宗教和日常生活的审美化。

The twentieth century Chinese aesthetic ideology which begin to appear and develop under the influence of the western aestheticism,can divide into two stages,namely the first decade and the third decade.In the first decade,Wang Guowei and Luxun had suspected the scientism strongly;in the third decade,Cai Yuanpei,Zong Baihua,Zhu Guangqian,all of them hold on the theory of aesthetic education replacementitng religion and aesthetic daily life.
