The thick homesickness feeling in Mo Yan＇s novel is showed by describing the folk cultures of his hometown.With the simplest feeling to his homeland,he looked for those passing days in Gaomi,the legends and stories of ghosts and spirits which is still spreading today as well as those beautiful fairy stories of his homeland.
