The crime of dereliction of duty relating to forestry affairs has its own particularities,and the criminal behaviors infringe mainly upon the normal forestry management system of the state.The fact that China＇s forestry management work is confronted with many difficulties in reality has given rise to many complexities in dealing with the causes of the crime of dereliction of duty relating to forestry affairs.This paper sheds light on those causes from economic and institutional perspectives by focusing on the analysis of specific cases.
