On the Investigative Methods and Evidence-Collecting Measures in Arson Cases

摘要 纵火是刑事犯罪分子常用的一种作案手段,也是发生火灾的原因之一,给社会稳定和人民生命财产安全造成极大危害。近年来,纵火案件呈上升趋势,纵火犯罪分子实施犯罪的手段也越来越高明、越隐蔽,给纵火案件的侦破带来极大困难。因此,如何准确、及时地搜集有力证据、查找真凶成为侦破纵火案件的关键。 Arson,as an oft-used means of criminal offence,is one of the reasons behind fire accidents which will incur great damages to social stability and the safety of people's lives and property.There has been an increase in the rate of arson cases in recent years and the tactics of arsonists also become more sophisticated and hard to detect,which adds to the amount of difficulties on the part of investigators.Therefore,to successfully solve arson cases,the key lies in collecting solid evidence which is both accurate and timely in order to find out and bring into justice the offenders.
