PROMOTING SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE CENTRAL PLAINS ECONOMIC REGION WITH THE STRATEGY OF FUNCTIONAL REGION AS THE PRINCIPAL PART

实施主体功能区战略是转变经济发展方式的重要内容,对中原经济区科学发展意义重大。中原经济区要明确各地开发方向,规范开发秩序,配套有针对性的区域政策、绩效评价和政绩考核措施,不断增强中原经济区发展的协调性和科学性,形成分工协作、优势互补、良性互动、可持续发展的区域空间格局。

Implementing the strategy of the major functional region is an important content of transforming economic development pattern and is of great significance to scientific development of the Central Plains Economic Region. The Central Plains Economic Region should clearly defines the developing orientation in different areas, normalize the developing sequence and work out coordinated region-oriented policies and measures of evaluating performance, efficiency and achievemnent. The scientific coordinating of developing the Central Plains Economic Region is to be strengthened so as to form a sustainable regional space pattern of sharing out the work ＆ helping one another, being mutually complementary in superiority and virtuously reciprocal.
