Gong Dingzi was a gifted poet in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty.Being a turncoat official of letters,an unique state of mind was reflected profoundly in his poetry,especially when regime changed,he surrendered the new lord of Qing dynasty,he had to be bearing the name of awkward turncoat official lifetime.After that,the ideas of seclusion frequently appeared with the mode of guilt and pain in his inner mind between the lines of his poetry.
