An Improved Process for the Synthesis of 3,5-Dimethylaniline

本文以2,4-二甲基苯胺为起始原料合成3,5-二甲基苯胺,对现有的乙酰化、硝化、水解脱乙酰基、重氮化脱氨基及还原五步反应进行改进,将乙酰化与硝化、水解脱乙酰基与重氮化脱氨基分别合并,进行"一锅化"反应,使总反应简化为三步。产品总收率75%以上,含量98.9%以上。

3,5-Dimethylaniline was synthesized from 2,4-dimethylaniline.The reaction steps of acylation,nitration,hydrolysis/deacetylation,diazotization/deamination and reduction were improved.Acylation and nitration,hydrolysis/deacetylation and diazotization/deamination were combined respectively.The total synthesis steps were decreased from five to three by the one-vessel reactions.The product 3,5-dimethylaniline with an overall yield of 75% and a purity of 98.9% was obtained.
