In contemporary secular society,religion maintains the world in a sacred way in order to implement its social control function.The Buddhism sticks to the principle of ＂to transcend,but not to leave＂ and its social control manifests a strong spirit of human-orientation,internalization idea and consciousness of tolerance.In contemporary China,the Buddhism has extensive effect on social ethics,community integration and individual psychology by its social control.The Buddhism ethics penetrates in its believers＇ daily life and play a positive role in social moral construction and interpersonal relations.
