Study on the Development of MICE Industry in Guangzhou

作为现代商贸流通业的重要组成部分之一,广州会展产业加快发展,是实现现代商贸流通业快速发展,推进国际商贸中心城市建设的必然要求本文通过对广州会展产业现实基础、比较优势、制约因素和政策措施的分析和思考,认为尽管存在着不利条件和外部竞争,广州会展产业的加快发展是可以实现的。

As an essential component of the modern industry of commerce and trade, it is necessary to develop the MICE industry in order to promote the industry itself as well as to build up an international centre of commerce and trade. Through analyzing its status-quo, competitive advantages, constraining factors and relevant policies, the author believes that the MICE industry in Guangzhou will gain momentum in spite of existing disadvantages and external competition.
