Main Circuit's Protection of EL Electric Locomotive

为了保证电力机车可靠工作,防止电气设备在不正常情况下受到不应有的损害,在电力机车主电路内通常设有一糸列的保护装置,它们能在主线路发生故障时自动动作,迅速切断相应的电路,从而防止故障扩大,避免设备受到严重的损伤。

In order to guarantee that the electric locomotive works reliably, prevent the electrical equipment to receive the improper harm in the abnormal condition, it is usually equipped with a series of protective devices in the main circuit of the electric locomotive. When the main line breaks down, they can automaticly operate, rapidly cut-off corresponding electric circuit, thus they can prevent the breakdown expansion, avoid receiving the serious damage of the equipments.
